Antique coffin style wood plane. Thick steel blade is stamped "Howland & Co Bee Hive Trademark Guaranteed". No markings on the wood. Likely late 19th Century (late 1800s, possibly early 1900s). RARE BEEHIVE STYLE BLADE
In great shape for the age but please SEE ALL PHOTOS as there are a few small superficial cracks in wood that does not affect the integrity. Some mild scratches and dings as well. Blade may need sharpening but this item is untested.
8.25" long, 2.75" wide and Apr 5" to top of blade. Blade is 2" wide.
