Vintage Charles Le Brun Lithograph with spectacular matt and frame. This baroque style art shows the physiognomic resemblance of man and Eagle. The original art piece is in the Louvre in Paris. The original shows the Eagle heads in the same pose. Right side has two hash marks "ll" and top says 13.R. in upper right corner (see photos).
Charles Le Brun (1619 - 1690) was the first painter to King Louis XIV. Lithographs of his art were made in the 1800s but *see all photos and judge age for yourself. It is my understanding, lithographs of this art have not been mad for some time, only prints. This piece shows clear lithograph impressions around edge.
