Large Hand Carved Wood Elephant Statue Figurine

Vintage large hand carved teak elephant.  Very unique tall shape complete with carved details in ears, on tail and below head. Either teak or another similar hard wood. Not sure where it was made, possibly India or Africa. Regardless, perfect for the worldly, natural or BOHO vibe. Date unknown but like c1960s.

Someone took their time making this one special. Not your average elephant carving. 

In great shape with just a couple superficial scratches. The couple little cracks are not damage but naturally occurring in the wood piece. See all photos.
