c1940s soap saver made out of metal. This would have been used to collect all the final small soap scraps until enough was collected to form a new soap bar. Money was tight and this was just another way to pinch every penny.
Makes amazing farmhouse or country bathroom decor. Hang it on the wall or set it on a bathroom shelf.
